The purpose of the Trust is to improve population health and well-being by taking targeted activities to achieve equity of health and well-being outcomes for people with mental health issues through, but not limited to: * Providing a safe environment in which one's true worth can be realised. * Providing community based group education, counselling programmes, or other support services for people with mental health issues (youth [13-17 years], adults, and their whanau/families) that will: - develop self-esteem, confidence and empowerment - allow people to become more independent in the community - develop self-management skills for mental health issues - improve employment readiness - improve whanau/family relationships - improve social integration - provide other support and assistance consistent with this charitable purpose * Undertaking service model improvements * Undertaking relationship development and collaboration with aligned organisations
