The purposes of the trust are as follows a) To lobby for changes to law where required so that Sikhs can practice their religion freely in New Zealand b) Carry out awareness programmes regarding Sikh Religion and principles amongst Sikh and Non-Sikhs. c) Organise Kirtan programmes in New Zealand d) To conduct personality development sessions and educational activities for children e) To help in Disaster relief like COVID-19 relief. f) Conduct sessions in schools across the country regarding the SIkh appearance thus promoting inclusiveness and helping Sikh Students feel welcome in the society. j) To create videos and other content for the promotion of Sikh culture and Punjabi language
