Seizure Support Northland

A charitable trust focusing on people in Northland, living with Epilepsy and Seizures. The purpose of the trust is through education and social support, creating a sense of belonging and building trust and self esteem by providing support and education to individuals and families, by supporting youth with a seizure condition through sports and other social activities, by helping those living with a seizure condition get to know each other by offering social networking opportunities across the Northland region, by providing access to information regarding seizure conditions through libraries and schools, surgeries and other organisations, and by organising local events for encouraging a positive supportive community, and by supporting the professional development of the epilepsy advisor through educational opportunities to ensure the best possible current advice is given.
