Save Our Kauri Trust

a) To protect the environment situated in the area described in the Waitakere Ranges Heritage Area as defined in the Waitakere Ranges Heritage Area Act 2008. b) To work for the preservation of Kauri c) To provide resources to educate the public about the threat that Kauri Dieback disease poses to the future of Kauri.

It is the third stated objective that best defines the nature of our current and future activities – our activities are those around providing information and education about the threat of Kauri Dieback Disease and preventative measures that can be taken, at all levels, to help preserve this national natural taonga for all New Zealanders.
