The object and purpose of the Trust is for every charitable purpose, whether it relates to the relief of poverty, the advancement of education or any other matter beneficial to the community : [a] To promote the improvement of literacy and numeracy through provision of resources to kindergartens, schools and other educational institutions, provision of scholarships and prizes, providing assistance to organisations working to improve literacy and numeracy. [b] To meet community needs through fundraising for the aged or infirm, women and children, those affected by poverty and public health needs.
