Red Scare Theatre Trust

a) to actively promote theatre in the community, and participation in theatre through i) the development and presentation of excellent, original New Zealand work ii) the development and presentation of excellent productions of licensed work, as produced by New Zealand practitioners iii) supporting and enabling a variety of theatrical experiences for Wellington audiences iv) increasing the profile of New Zealand theatre by taking it to New Zealand and international audiences where appropriate.

b) to foster and promote the writing or composition of new plays, musical theatre works or other works intended for performance in live theatre.

c) to provide opportunities for predominantly Wellington-based theatre practitioners.
