Mission: He Korowai Oranga Hei Tau Awhi i nga Kaumātua. 'Korowai of services, which will wrap around Kaumātua to keep them warm and safe, where best practices, policies, protocols, and procedures are used to address the issues affecting Kaumātua, and to secure a sustainable service that addresses the warmth and safety of Kaumātua. The 5 objectives of Rauawaawa are: • Enhancing the safety of Kaumātua • To improve the quality of life and wellbeing of Kaumātua in Hamilton city and districts • Recognising and respecting the dignity of Kaumātua • Affirming the right of Kaumātua to self determination • Providing programmes and initiatives related to Education, Recreation, Welfare, Housing, Health and Wellbeing
