Pound Hounds Rescue Charitable Trust

Pound Hounds Rescue Charitable Trust is dedicated to reducing the number of unclaimed pound dogs being euthanized by supporting pounds in their rehoming programs and by taking suitable dogs into our care. We provide temporary foster homes and a high-quality rehoming service, ensuring that every dog has the opportunity to “find their new forever.” In addition, we strengthen communities through our No Parvo No Puppies Community Desexing and Vaccination Program, which offers low-cost desexing as well as free Parvo vaccinations, microchipping, parasite treatment, dog food and basic dog care and education. Through these initiatives, we aim to improve the welfare of dogs and foster responsible pet ownership across New Zealand.
