Penina o le Moana

Established in 2021, Penina o le Moana's mission is to keep our Samoan language and culture alive for our 'aiga living in Dunedin. We aim to increase the everyday use and understanding of gagana Samoa through song, dance and cultural practices. We know a strong sense of identity and belonging contribute significantly to a child's wellbeing and overall achievement both socially and academically. We exist to deliver opportunities for our Dunedin based tamaiti to experience our aganu'u (culture).
