act as a collective representing patients voices that informs policy to improve healthcare decision-making and health outcomes for New Zealanders; advocate for better, more equitable and faster patient access to medicines, diagnostics, and services; promote the patient voice to be included in healthcare decision making and increased representation in decision making forums; encourage decisions that impact on patients to be evidenced-based; support increased investment in health research
