*To plan, coordinate, and deliver cultural, educational and social welfare activities for benefit of its members. *To collaborate with community groups and agencies in organizing activities that support seniors in integrating into and adapting to the New Zealand way of life, helping to reduce social isolation. *To develop and implement initiatives that preserve and promote the Hindi culture and Māori Languages and cultures at the community level. *To encourage and support member participation in social cultural programmes held at community centers throughout Auckland. *To assist members who are disabled or experiencing emotional distress by providing Counsell referrals to appropriate support services. *To organise lectures workshops, and group discussions that enhance members spiritual, physical, well-being. *To raise funds for the implementation of various projects, including excursions and visits to locations such a temples, botanical gardens and scenic sites.
