About Papamoa Community Patrol Incorporated
a. To reduce the incidence of crime within the Papamoa area by observing and reporting suspected or potential criminal behaviour to the NZ Police in an agreed and disciplined manner. b. To develop and maintain a group of voluntary Community Patrollers who are licensed and skilled in carrying out the prime task of observing and reporting. c. To affiliate to the national coordinating body, Community Patrols of New Zealand (CPNZ), to ensure compliance with national standards and the operational support of the NZ Police. d. To create and maintain a positive public awareness of the patrol's operation in the Papamoa area to help overcome crime intolerance in general, also to encourage local donations in support of the Society's operations. e. Pecuniary gain is not a purpose of the Society.
