The purpose of the Trust will be to grow and support the holistic development, that is, the educational, social, physical, cultural, mental and spiritual development of people, and in particular rangatahi Māori (Māori youth) in the Ōpōtiki District and surrounding areas, through the vehicle of mixed martial arts. In particular the Trust will: operate a mixed martial arts training and development centre; host local programmes, competitions, camps and events; and provide other supports.
