To provide quality holistic early childhood education and care for children aged two to five years, by helping them to develop valuable life long learning skills and become confident and competent learners. We achieve this via: Our caring and professional teachers, who facilitate the development of self-esteem, self-control, confidence, independence, creativity and enjoyment for all children in a fun and stimulating environment Use of Te Whāriki based curriculum that recognises children as active learners with varied individual learning characteristics and interests. All different cultures are celebrated and the programme reflects the dual heritage of the partners of the Treaty of Waitangi. Supporting Parents and Whānau in the ‘decision making’ process concerning their children by being available to discuss their child’s development and progress, and will refer Parents to appropriate support agencies if required.
