Our purpose is to ensure the essence of who we are lives on in perpetuity; Kia u ki to Ngatiruatanga kia kore e ngaro - Holdfast to your Ngāti Ruatakenga (Ngāti Rua) culture, lest it be lost. We strive to achieve this by administering the Marae complex, regulating its use and ensuring it is properly maintained for the benefit of all descendants of the Ngāti Rua hapu.

We also serve our wider community, people of all cultures and backgrounds, both locally within Aotearoa and internationally.
