NZ Gifts of Love and Strength

We provide healing tote and toiletry bags to youth aged 13 to 18 years from the wider Canterbury and West Coast regions affected by Sexual Harm to aid them in their healing journey via The Cambridge Clinic & START in Christchurch.

Over 80% of our items are hand-made and the rest are donated goods by the public or we must purchase them.

We are trying to raise awareness with youth that there is free help for all and is no stigma in doing so.

We also provide fabric and yarn to older survivors of sexual harm who wish to volunteer for us where cost has been a barrier, to allow them to feel part of a supportive, caring environment and help aid them in their healing journey too.

We are the first and only organisation to be doing this in Canterbury providing the bags. To date only 18 years plus have been catered for.

In May 2026 we expanded into South Canterbury region with an aim over time to be able to take this self-sufficient concept all around NZ regions.
