The provision of Maori Warden duties throughout Dargaville and Districts; patrolling, security, community support, fostering, promoting, and encouraging the use of the principles and practices of the Maori Wardens. To nurture and encourage Rangatahi of the region to gain a sense of direction that leads towards achievement, good behaviour and responsibility. To minimise undesirable forms of conduct and behaviour amongst the Maori people.
