To promote spiritual, educational, physical and cultural advancement and well-being of Ngati Pukenga ki Maketu. To promote the health and well being generally including of the aged or those suffering from mental or physical sickness or disability of beneficiaries of Ngati Pukenga ki Maketu. To promote and provide for the exercise of Kaitiakitangi over places of cultural or spiritual significance to Ngati Pukenga ki Maketu including marae, pa, wahi tapu, urupa and other sites or resources.
