Nga Hau e Wha Society Incorporated

Ngā Hau E Whā Marae, (depicting all people from the four winds) was established in 1979 with the whakaaro, the thought to have an appropriate venue for tupapaku, tangihanga, hui and kaupapa. To help, aid, assist and provide support to meet the needs of people, especially rangatahi. Ngā Hau E Whā officially opened September 1980. Over 45 years the marae has been operating and has supported and hosted many tangihanga, hui, wānanga, celebrations; birthdays, cultural events, Kura, Ngā Kōhanga Reo.
