The purposes of the Telemedicine Trust: Foster the development and application of health care technology: To enable the delivery of health care and health care education for children and young people and their families and whanau in accordance with child health strategies, youth health strategies, public health policy, and national and regional health care goals; Support the care of children and young people and their families and whanau regardless of where they live; to achieve equity of access to health care, and overcome health care disparities; and Enhance the capability and capacity of health care professionals to deliver quality health care to children and young people and their families and whanau anywhere within New Zealand, the Pacific Region, and other regions in need at the discretion of the trustees; Foster the development and implementation of novel and innovative health care technology for the betterment of the health of children, and young people and their families.
