New Zealand Deerstalkers Association (Nelson Branch) Incorporated

Started as an Incorporated Society and later transferred to a Charitable organisation representing recreational hunters, firearm owners and rifle range users in the Nelson Region. Providing advice, training and promoting safety around firearms and general back country / mountain safety. Also providing accommodation for outdoor users at Lake Rotoiti with our facility Red Deer Lodge. Advocating for retention of hunting as a legitimate outdoor activity, and access to public estate. Working with other bodies around habitat protection, conservation and game animal management. Providing a safe rifle range facility for use by both members and other local groups in a controlled manner. Collection and distribution of wild caught meat products to families in need.
