Nelson Sikh Community Trust

The charitable purpose of the trust is to establish, manage, and maintain a Sikh temple (Gurdwara) and its associated facilities for the benefit of the community. This includes holding religious services, prayers, and celebrations of Sikh festivals; promoting the teachings of the Guru Granth Sahib; operating a free community kitchen (Langar) that provides free food to everyone in the community seven days a week, with no discrimination; providing free food support during any disaster emergency.
