Neighbourhood Support Rotorua works to strengthen connected, safe and resilient communities across the Rotorua District.

The organisation supports neighbourhood groups and street contacts by encouranging communication, cooperation and community participation. It promotes effective partnerships between residents, New Zealand Police, Rotorua Lakes Council, Emergency Services and other community agencies.

Neighbourhood Support Rotorua provides information, resources, training and practical support to help communities improve safety, prevent crime, prepare for emergencies and respond to local concerns.

The organisation also works to raise the profile and credibility of Neighbourhood Support within thw wider community and undertakes any other activities that support these purposes.
