a. Provide support to the community and parents with new-born’s by providing funds for the purchase of equipment/admin costs, intended for the purposes of breast milk donation. b. Provide support and assistance to community groups who would like to open their own Breast Milk Bank, either financially or by other means such as promotion or guidance. c. Uphold the World Health Organisation’s mandate on breast-feeding matters, called the Innocenti Declaration (1990), that promotes, protects and supports the breastfeeding environment based on the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative, Ten Steps to Breastfeeding (in particular step 6): d.
