The Trust operates for the benefit of the community by assisting the community to resolve conflicts and to improve communications. The Trust shall also promotes education by providing training in dispute resolution and related disciplines. The Trust does this by: (a) providing dispute resolution services to individuals, groups and agencies in New Zealand, on a no cost or low cost basis wherever possible (b) educating the general public about options for dispute resolution (c) providing training and education for those involved in dispute resolution and human resource management.
