The purpose of Maranga Mai Maori Wardens is to carry out the Maori Warden philosophy "Aroha ki te tangata" in what we do, how we act and speak to one another and through our service to others. We assist all peoples of all ethnicities in the community and in particular the most vulnerable. We act to support safe and well communities. We uplift the mana of the marae, hapu and iwi by representing ourselves and Maori Wardens as people of pride, worth and integrity.
