1. To effectively communicate the principles to which the Trust is committed on behalf of Maori to Government Agencies. 2. To build capacity towards the participation of the Trust at all levels of the Health sector as identified in part four of the Trust deed. 3. To develop and implement positive Maori Health initiatives in collaboration with Maori and Central and Local Government agencies 4. To increase awareness and provide educational services to whanau, Hapu, Iwi, and communities of interest as to health issues affecting them. 5. To develop, implement and review the MWITM Strategic Plan for Health. 6. To effectively contribute to health plans that directly affect Maori. 7. To research and develop tools that assist the health status of Maori.
