The Trust exists solely for charitable purposes within New Zealand, with its main goal being to advance public health. Its activities include providing evidence‑based health education, supporting community wellbeing initiatives, running or supporting educational events and publications, raising funds through various charitable sources, and undertaking any related actions needed to fulfil these objectives, as long as they remain charitable and benefit the public.
