About Little India Charitable Trust
1. To advance education by providing cultural, educational, and language programmes relating to Indian heritage, traditions, languages, history, and multicultural understanding for the benefit of the public.
2. To promote social inclusion, community wellbeing, and multicultural harmony by organising public cultural events, educational workshops, and community engagement activities that foster understanding and participation among diverse communities in New Zealand.
3. To provide support, information, guidance, and community assistance to migrants, new settlers, and members of the public to assist their participation and integration into New Zealand society.
4. To promote community safety, wellbeing, and public awareness through educational programmes relating to crime prevention, health awareness, social wellbeing, and community support services.
5. To undertake charitable activities beneficial to the community that are consistent with the charitable purposes of the Trust.
