The Le Bons Bay Conservation Trust has been formed because of a strong desire from many local people to promote and enable the conservation of the local environment within the Bay.

We have purchased 39 hectares 'The Old Wharf Road property' that forms a triangle of land running up Dalglish Rd from the bottom of the hill, up to the summit directly above the Le Bons Bay beach, with the river being the bottom boundary.

We have formed a partnership with the Banks Peninsula Conservation Trust and placed a covenant on the land. We have also fenced off the land from wondering stock and started weed and pest control
