About Law and Economics Association of New Zealand Incorporated
The general objectives of LEANZ are to contribute to (i) communicating and disseminating information in New Zealand about law and economics literature and research and promoting its application to legal and public policy issues in New Zealand; (ii) enhancing understanding of law and economics in New Zealand amongst legal, economic, and other relevant professions, including academia, the private sector, and government, and fostering teaching, research, publication, and education about law and economics in New Zealand. In promoting these general objectives, the Association is committed to encouraging open and vigorous debate from a wide range of perspectives. The Association recognises the value of debate and materials being comprehensible to participants with legal, economic, or other backgrounds.
