Knowledge of Oceania Society

a. Honour the spirit of the Treaty of Waitangi and Aotearoa New Zealand’s obligations to the Pacific; b. Provide a forum for discussion on Indigenous knowledge and knowledge systems; c. Build capacity around the maintenance and development of Indigenous knowledge, through seminars and workshops, dialogue and education; d. Promote the maintenance and development of Indigenous knowledge through submissions to government documents and Bills; e. Facilitate Indigenous participation in the WIPO IGC.
