Age Concern Kaitaia & District's aim is to support the needs of Older People living in the Far North.

The Purpose of our Organisation: Our mission statement is: "Working together to promote quality of life for older people."

Age Concern Kaitaia & District’s purpose is to preserve the dignity and to improve the lifestyle, health and welfare of the older person in the Far North who are in need.

To obtain and circulate information relevant to aging, and in particular information pertaining to the promotion of the lifestlye, good health and welfare of older people.

To act in an advisory capacity on behalf of the older people of the Far North and to liaise with other agencies, businesses, community groups, government departments, and our National Council ( Age Concern New Zealand).

To actively promote positive attitudes towards older people and the ageing process.
