1. To encourage and promote in New Zealand the learnings of the teachings of the Buddhist religion for the benefit of all living beings wherein all its members will strive for peace and harmony of the world and well-being of the living beings. 2. To co-operate assist and provide moral and financial assistance in research and propagation of the Buddhist religion and teachings modernization of classical sutras including liaisons and inter-relations between members and other people who are disciples of Buddhism in New Zealand.
