- To make grants to or otherwise aid charitable institutions for charitable purposes including organising, promoting, carrying out, managing and financing track and field meetings in New Zealand. - To provide competitive development opportunities for young New Zealand track and field athletes by bringing international athletes to New Zealand to inspire and compete against them - To assist with funding for developing New Zealand track and field athletes to travel to and participate in competitions that will assist with their development - To provide coaching and mentoring opportunities for developing New Zealand track and field athletes - To promote the health benefits of participation in track and field events
