Indigenous Data Authority Charitable Trust

The purpose of the Indigenous Data Authority Charitable Trust is to advance Māori and Indigenous collective wellbeing by promoting ethical, culturally grounded governance of data, digital identity, and information systems. The Trust exists to protect Indigenous data from misuse, misappropriation, and loss of cultural context by developing education, standards, guidance, and governance frameworks grounded in tikanga Māori and Indigenous worldviews.
