Hoani Waititi Marae Trust

To accept the transfer of assets of the Hoani Waititi Marae Trust, and to use those assets and all other property or monies it may receive to continue the functions of the Marae for the benefit of the people of Aotearoa in general and in particular for people of the Waitakere District of Tamaki Makaurau by: a)Nurturing Maori culture and customs with dignity and spirituality b)Establishing and supporting learning institutions where Te Reo is used as a basic c)Continuing to provide a forum for discussion on any matter relating to the Maori people d)Educating Pakeha about Maoritanga and Maori values e)Establishing and developing quality cultural and academic 'education for life' programmes which foster students self confidence and self esteem
