Hawke's Bay Museums Foundation Charitable Trust

To provide support and encouragement to the Hawke's Bay Museums Trust in the operation of the Hawke's Bay Museums Trust and Art Gallery and any other cultural centre or institution under the control of the trust. To advance and promote in Hawke's Bay a sense of history and an awareness of the importance of the New Zealand's heritage. To acquire art works and artefacts by gift, bequest, or purchase and to assist it to conserve, display and research the material in its collections. To raise funds for the HBMT by such means as may be adopted from time to time. To attract bequests and donations and to administer the trusts funds and to use such funds or the income from them for the benefit of HBMT.
