To promote, preserve and protect the interests of Halswell residents to the benefit of the community and environment; support the efforts of any persons or other bodies who may be working for the benefit of the Halswell area; take an active interest in the cultural and social welfare of the community; and provide a forum for the open discussion of all matters of local interest.
