To provide support in health, education, religion, and the cultural needs of our people and the wider community. Our Marae provided a place for these people to come to, and contacts for these people to talk and seek assistance from. To have a place all people in Hakatere can call home, that provides a sense of belonging. This leads to Whanau having a better sense of health, wellbeing and social connection.
