Our vision is to restore the natural abundance of Aotea so that people and nature thrive together (love, protect, restore | aroha, tiaki, whakahou).

Our mission is to work with Aotea's mana whenua and communities to better understand, protect and restore biodiversity on land and sea, to eradicate feral cats, re-introduce lost species, and grow a sustainable, ecology-based economy for the island.

We focus on research, projects that protect biodiversity, communication and advocacy that inform and support decision-making. This helps to enable the community to act towards protection of the biodiversity of the island for future generations.
