To achieve the vision of a healthy Gulf, rich with marine life, for the enjoyment of everyone, now and in the future.

To research and advocate for the preservation, conservation, protection, enhancement and sustainable management of the Hauraki Gulf environment, including marine ecosystems and their parts for their intrinsic value, and to encourage and facilitate the scientific study of marine life and the natural history of the Hauraki Gulf.
