Dunedin Tap Dancing Society

To provide tap dancing competitions for between 70 and 95 competitors, ranging in age from pre-school to young adults. An entertainment category is also offered and this includes adult tappers. The opportunity to perform on stage in front of an audience benefits competitors by increasing their confidence and self esteem. Long term benefits include a sense of belonging, responsibility, leadership, friendship. Family and friends are encouraged to come and support the dancers.
