Establish a Buddhist place of worship in NZ as a focal point for Buddhists and others who are interested in Buddhism. Establish a centre of excellence that will teach, facilitate & provide opportunities and conveniences for the purpose of studying and practising Buddhist teachings and meditation. Establish and maintain a place of residence for Buddhist Monks of the Theravada Tradition to practise meditation and follow a monastic way of life. Promote the teaching & learning of Buddhism by conducting education programmes to the public at large. Disseminate Buddha’s teachings through publications. Observe & celebrate events of significance to Buddhism. Promote & facilitate positive mental health and wellbeing of the society through Buddhist Meditation. Provide counselling services to correct antisocial behaviours based on Buddhist principles within NZ. Contribute to racial harmony & peaceful coexistence among different communities in NZ society. Promote & support charitable activities.
