To promote the DARE message, primarily in the Tairawhiti Area, by supporting education within the community for children, adolescents, parents and caregivers for the purposes of enhancing community safety; to work with the community to provide programmes in identifying and avoiding harmful activity that puts the community at risk and promotes safe life choices; to stimulate, initiate, support and co-operate with research within New Zealand; to obtain and disseminate information on any of these; and other objects as set out in the Rules.
