Creative Initiatives Trust

The purpose of the trust is: 1 Provide through various means educational opportunities, support and encouragement for skills development for individuals and groups who practice or operate in the arts and creative sectors 2 To organise educational programmes, events, publications and provide materials and opportunities for advancing creative job skills for the achievement of industry and self reliance by artists 3 To promote and encourage through various means the development of support networks and community amongst artists 4 To promote and communicate to the wider community for the benefit of their appreciation and enjoyment the creative, cultural and artistic richness of the arts in NZ 5 To provide physical premises, infrastructure and funding and to receive subscriptions, donations, grants, gifts and secure contracts to fund all or any of the purposes of this trust identified above
