Countdown Kids Charitable Trust

When children are sick and in hospital, the stress on them and their entire family is enormous. By financially supporting dedicated children’s hospitals and wards right throughout New Zealand, we will help “give sick kids in hospital a fresh start and a fresh future.”

By supporting ongoing fundraising, and the building of strong and lasting relationships between our Countdown stores, suppliers, DHBs and local communities, we aim to significantly and consistently improve the well-being of sick children in hospital, their families, and the amazing medical professionals who treat them with love and care.

We will work closely with the New Zealand District Health Boards (DHB’s) that we support, to understand exactly what their needs are and do our best every year to: • Fund the purchase of medical equipment for the dedicated children’s hospitals and wards • Fund other important goods and improvements
