Community Koha

The purpose of the Trust will be in reduce food insecurity, connect communities, and waste minimalisation in New Zealand and the local community. The trust will: 3.1 create a mobile application to facilitate the giving of food and essential items to those in need; 3.2 provide an accessible platform for the community, especially those who are disadvantaged to locate existing non-for-profit organisations and their services 3.3 provide a platform to connect communities to share their koha (excess food, goods, services, events) with the community and 3.4 work with communities to support and bring awareness to excess waste and ways this waste can be reused and recycled and 3.5 work with organisations, councils and individuals to enhance their efforts towards waste minimisation and food insecurity in their community; 3.6 help communities connect with organisations and access their services, 3.3 provide other support and assistance consistent with this charitable purpose.
