Cobden Aromahana Sanctuary and Recreation Areas Incorporated

The purposes of the Society are to protect and enhance the the Cobden Sanctuary, Lagoon and Recreational Areas. The major benefits of our work include provision and maintenance of a family friendly walkway around the existing Cobden lagoon, enhancement of native vegetation, and public education on birdlife in and around the Lagoon and estuarine areas. CASRA is also promoting community involvement with volunteer days. The area is now a very popular recreational area from the former refuse site.
