1. Christian Witness to Israel (CWI) was established to provide education for Christians and non-Christians who wished to understand Judaism out of which Christianity came. The origins of CWI (under other names) date back to 1842 in Scotland and London when a number of influential Ministers were aware of the neglect of Jewish people among Christian churches. 2. The courses run by CWI have been recognised by Laidlaw College, and the graduates who wish to go on for further training are credited 30 points for the two semesters.
